The Masia Mimosa has been offering hospitality to guests for many years, originally as a farmhouse, then briefly as a hospital during the war years, then as an Ambassadorial Residence, and now as a small, luxury boutique hotel.
The current owners are delighted to offer several spaces which are ideal for entertaining, dinners, events, celebrations, parties and Weddings.
The Dragon Dining Room -
A magnificent dining room in the Bavarian style, with a gilded iron chandelier of Dragons and hunting emblems such as Antlers. The room also has a small bar, and could accommodate as many as 50 people for a sit down lunch or dinner. This room is particularly lovely in Summer as it features enormous windows which completely open, and overlooks two courtyards and the front gardens of the Masia
The Mirror Dining Room -
A smaller dining room with an enormous 18th century mirror, and armorial trinkets such as a suit of armour and sword belonging to Carlos V of Spain. This room is more of an ante-room to the Dragon Dining Room, but would be ideal for a small cocktail party of between 10 -20 people, or for Aperitifs before dinner in the Dragon Dining Room.
The Swimming Pool House and Garden -
An entirely separate house from the main Masia, which also has its' own kitchen and an en-suite bedroom with Kingsize bed. The house is shaped like a horseshoe and partially surrounds the large swimming pool (7m x 14m) and contains magnificent tiled tables which match the walls and provides seating and dining for up to 120 people.
The Swimming Pool House has a large garden and fountain which can be illuminated at night, and spectacular views towards the foothills of the Pyrenees and Las Salinas Mountains. This area would be ideal for a wedding reception or larger party
The Hunting Room -
In a Baronial style, this room also contains the main safe and travel safe of Napoleon II. The windows are of stained glass, and the chandeliers are constructed from antlers with glass featuring hunting scenes - not necessarily the best room for Vegetarian guests! This very private room has an enormous dining table and seats up to 22 guests in great comfort for lunch or dinner.
The Courtyards:
Two adjacent courtyards, one which features a Minstrels stage for entertainments, and the other which has the facilities for a whole Hog Roast ( a Spit Roast for an entire Pig or Sheep,) as well as jolly communal dining tables for up to 40 guests, and a central fountain.
